A preview of our new blog.
To all the avid baseball and softball fans around the world, I want to sincerely welcome you to the brand-new Baseball Town Blog! My name is Christophe Lachance-Tardif, manager of the Ottawa shop and I’ll be running our brand-new blog throughout 2019.
It’s with the utmost pride that we are launching the first edition of the blog. We’ll be publishing an article twice a month that will touch upon different topics related to the baseball and softball world. I’ll also bear upon the hot issues and storylines from Major League Baseball. Feel free to interact with me and some fans to debate about some topics in a respectful manner but before stepping into the batter’s box, let’s talk a look at the history of Baseball Town
A brief history lesson
For those who are unaware, Baseball Town is a retail store specialized in baseball and softball equipment and gear. Established in 2012, in Laval, Quebec, Baseball Town opened its first store next to Coup Sûr, a batting cage center. The retail store has rapidly grown in a span of a few years and has now become one of Canada’s leading retailers for all softball and baseball gear.
Throughout the years, the popularity of Baseball Town has grown significantly and the enterprise is now recognized for the expertise and acumen of their employees as well as its variety of choice in regards to the equipment. In 2019, Baseball Town has three shops spread across Laval, St-Hubert, and Ottawa.
Well that’s it for today, folks. We’ll be back on January 15 and dive directly into baseball with a unique subject; we’ll take a look at some new year’s resolution for a couple of teams. Last but not least, I welcome you all to write in the comment section below on what is the thing you like the most about Baseball Town. It will be a pleasure to read your responses!
Before I forget, just a quick thought to remind you that pitcher’s and catcher’s will be reporting to spring training in just 44 days! Hold on tight, fans, baseball season will be upon us soon!
